Rather than correcting issues inside reports, I investigated where inconsistencies originated throughout the data pipeline whether originating in the codebase or in ETL processes.
By identifying data quality issues at their source and introducing validation, transformation, and cleansing processes, reporting became significantly more reliable while reducing downstream maintenance.
